*How do you recieve stimulus money if you are/ were incarcerated? Inmates have to fill out a 1040 tax return for 2020 requesting a “recovery rebate.” When  filing the tax return, prisoners will have their checks docked for child support, back taxes, restitution and fees.

If you received child tax credits you will be mailed a statement called, “Letter 6419, 2021 advance CTC” which you will use when filing taxes

* Who qualified?  Individuals earning less than $75,000 or couples jointly earning less than $150,000 (2021 adjusted gross income)
