Goodbye Letter to Drug of Choice

By Bethany

Think of your drug or drugs of choice as an entity.  (parent, lover, friend, angel, demon-male or female) If you need inspiration listen to the video: “Lead you on,” by MGK Machine Gun Kelly
Write about:

  • The first time I saw you…why I loved you…what it was like being together
  • When did you suspect something was wrong…How would you describe the character of your drug of choice…how did your family and friends feel about the new relationship in your life…what did it do to you and your character…how has it impacted your children and bodies
  • How do you feel about your drug of choice now…why can’t you be together…what changed…what is changing within you…who are you now?

* TWIST:  Write a letter from your drug of choice to you.
